The 2007 Report of Amnesty International, which describes the situation of human rights in 153 countries during 2006, digs out a world devastated by wars, discrimination and repression, a world in which women are victims of violence and in which communities are full of poverty and social exclusion.
Fear -The 2006 has been the year of fear. Many leaders have fomented fears against foreigners that have created intolerance, wars and a dangerous lack of rights.
The situation in Italy- Italy has not yet a law for the right of asylum. The 26 American citizens involved in Abu Omar case have not yet been extradited. Due to the anti-terrorism law of 2005 many migrants have been expelled and others have been obliged to come back to their country.
