Creation of 24 housing for elderly people in via Vaciglio a Modena
A special structure for elderly has been inaugurated on July 7th in Modena, realized by the Rest Home and funded by the Opera Pia, the Region and the Municipality.
The structure is composed of 24 housing, which can welcome between 24 and 40 autonomous people either single or couple.
To live in this new structure people will have to be over 60 years old and do not own housing in Modena and the territory, or people who have difficulties of keeping their own house.
The idea springs from the necessity of giving a home to elderly in difficulties, either alone or with low income. The aim is in maintaining the elderly in their town it reciprocally maintains their family and friend link and closeness, the same as their own landmarks.
The “lofts” have been realized with a real idea and respect of comfort, safety and bioarchitecture structure.
The rent have been agreed to a minimum of 50 Euros per month and a maximum of the 25% of the familial income. The rest will be paid by the municipality of Modena.
