

The ERLAIM (European Regional and Local Authorities for the Integration of Migrants) project aims at improving the quality of the action of regional and local stakeholders when participating in the design and implementation of policies concerning the integration of third country nationals.
The European project involves 9 regional and local authorities of Europe (Italy, UK, Spain, Cyprus, Slovenia, Greece, Germany) which are coordinated by Emilia-Romagna’s Region.
The aim of project- On the basis of ERLAI´s experience, the project intends to promote a wider transnational partnership representing a platform for dialogue on integration of migrants between European institutions, public authorities at all levels and representatives of civil society and migrant associations.There will be 5 seminars which will decide the actions to undertake in different fields: right of citizenship and participation of immigrants; intercultural communication; partnership for the support of integration; rights for foreign women and children.
The seminar in Bologna- The first seminar on the right of citizenship will take place in Bologna on the 13th of July. The partners will present their experiences in this field and representatives of Emilia Romagna’s Region will speak about the regional projects.
The network is made up of Emilia Romagna’s Region, Junta de Andalucia, Fundación Comunidad Valenciana, Diputació de Barcelona, Nicosia Municipalità, Beauftragte des Senats von Berlin für Integration und Migration, Yorkshire & Humber, Slovenian Filantropic, Nomarchiaki Aftodiikisi Ileias.
The other seminars will take place in Nicosia, Seville, Athens and Valencia.
