Worldwide food meeting, ethnical market, performances, music and debates. Till Sunday 8th July at the Nevicati Park of Collecchio (Pr)
Don’t miss the two week ends of the 11th edition of the multicultural festival which offers vivid programs from the world including meetings, musical performances and traditional foods!
The initiative will take place in the Nevicati Park of Collecchio, and will start on Saturday 30th of June till Sunday 1st of July, and continue from Friday 6th of July to Sunday 8th of July.
For the two successive week ends every evening visitors will have the choice to taste Italian and ethnical food, watch performances and exhibitions, and visit libraries in open air. Finally there will be also playrooms for children.
Food will be from different countries such as Americas, Africa and Asia. The pleasure of cooking will be associated this year with the right of the products. An informative card will be distributed dealing with stories and problems of trade and alimentary products in the mentioned countries. The campaign has the aim of awaring consumator criticism about alimentation consumption and also of increasing the value of different culinary traditions. In addition to this campaign there will be a debate to investigate the theme of international trade.
In the second week end we will see a musical competition for young artists entitled “I have a dream”.
Moreover, during this occasion, a photographic exhibition of Ivan Bolondi “The trip in the trip”on the theme of journey and multicultural meetings will be inaugurated in “Villa Soragna” from Saturday 30th of June to Sunday 8th of July.
The initiative has been supported by the municipality of Collecchio and organized by Forum Solidarietà, center of volontaries of Parma, and CIAC. All the activities have been realized thanks to the collaboration of foreign communities and local associations.
