

As a result of the Antiracist World Cup there have been 7.000 people and many prize-giving. This is the balance sheet of the 11th edition which ended last Sunday in Casalecchio di Reno after 3 days of sport, meetings and conferences in a peaceful and enjoying atmosphere.
It has been a non-competitive-tournament (no referees), where many associations fighting day to day discrimination, during the event have preferred playing and enjoying themselves instead of being challenged and compete against each other.
Prize-giving- However, many diverse types of prize-giving and Cups have been assigned. The most popular “Cup” has been won by Spanish volunteers of Cepa Andalucia which have been very efficient in antiracism not only in field but also in prison thanks to their educative projects for women and children in prison.
A “Cup for the invisibles” has been assigned to Congo association Lisped and Ukraine association World Peace which couldn’t come in Italy for bureaucratic reasons.
The “Ultrà” Cup has been won by Rude Boys of Sampdoria Football for the peaceful and antiracist behaviour in field, and the “Friend Cup” was for the municipality of Casalecchio who has given hospitality during the event. Finally the “Ciak” Cup has been won by Rotenburger Amateur Fussballer who have produced a video about new-Nazi movement in Germany.
For the sportive prizes: the “Antiracist Basket Cup” has been won by the English boys and girls group Easton Cowboys and Cowgirls, the “Volley Cup” by Xm24 of Bologna, the “Cricket Cup” by a Pakistan team of San Giovanni in Persiceto, and finally the co-winners for “Football Cup” were the Roter Stern from Innsbruck and the German girls of Elke An Die Murmel.
In Conclusion: That was a total of- People: 7.000, campers: 3.000, litres of water: 15.000, tin cans of drink: 15.000, and distance 6.000 km (from Atx United, Texas, which have won, in fact, the “Kilometres Cup”).
