A Parma agreement on the program of the integration of disable pupils
After Rimini, Bologna and Ravenna, the next city, which signed the new agreement on the 15th program of the integration of disable children at school, is Parma. The partners of this agreement are the Provincia di Parma, i Comuni, l’Ausl, l’Ufficio scolastico provinciale and the state headmasters.
The main points of the agreement are a special training for the teachers and the school staffs, works building to free passage, new equipments, IT tools for the teaching, agreement between cities to have free access to funding, and information on work guidance, opportunity and society. The period of this new agreement is of 5 years, the previous one was from 1997 to 2002. The document has been elaborated by the GLIP or interinstitutional work group for the integration from the Province.
The target is to open school (the ones non specialised) to disabled children and mix then with non disable children to finally create a pole of integration, participation, respect and understanding.
The outline law for the social assistance and rights of disable people ”(n 104/1992), provide for disable people the integration in schools at any level as the new program mentioned above is involved.
